Beyond the Stage is the debut album for Soprano, Fiona Jopson and Pianist, Paul Fitzsimon to bring the works of Puccini, Verdi, Massenet and Austrian Composer Joseph Marx to life.

This project started as an idea in 2021 that became reality in 2022. During the planning and creative process it became clear there was a greater reason for this project - to document the vast amounts of repertoire prepared over the last 6 years. Especially the repertoire during the 18/19 and 19/20 seasons at the Wiener Staatsoper, as well as future repertoire/role plans.

After many delays, taking time to recover from the early stages of burn out and adrenal fatigue Beyond the Stage has finally become a reality!
